A Brilliant Introduction to a Half Marathon
All the marshals were so helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere at the Rugby Club was great. The course was tough for a beginner but there was plenty of encouragement. The scenery was, of course absolutely beautiful. Altogether a great event.

Brilliant event, tough but so friendly and unique
Marshall’s are fab, aide stations are brilliant. You’re walked to the start by a piper for goodness sake. Blimmin love this race, brilliant organised well done

This is my third year and we travel from Norfolk and that says it all! Great atmosphere from other runners, marshals and every one running the aid stations! The views are second to none, the trails are amazing. The piper is an excellent touch. Thank you to all the runners, the Marshalls and all the volunteers

If you only do one half
I've done a few, the Hardy Half event is a standout favourite. The event start and finish location has the feelgood factors in abundance, atmosphere, great band, beer, pizza and a friendly and enthusiastic organising crew and
volunteers. Special touch, the twin tractors archway finish line. Had a brilliant day thanks all.

Fantastic views and fabulous organisation
Such a positive, friendly event! Marshals were amazing and all the extras like the rock choir and bagpipes were an added bonus. Atmosphere was buzzing at the finish and food was great. Definitely will be recommending to other runners!

Brilliantly organized, superb volunteers and signs , and excellent stations.
I have done many trail races and none have had so many supportive volunteers. Only 2 gates to open which was tremendous. Superb stations and supplies including medical support.
Thoroughly enjoyable with runners helping each other to keep pushing through. Excellent value for money. Top class event deserved a bigger attendance.
